Techniques Namegh commonly draws on during a session. A session is not limited to one technique — he adapts to what comes up during the assessment.
Active release technique
Hands-on pressure held on a muscle while you move the limb through a range of motion, so the tissue works under your own movement. Commonly seen for shoulder pain and leg pain.

Counterstrain
A passive approach that positions the body away from the tender point and holds it there while the area settles. Gentle, with no forceful movement, and often used with patients who find direct pressure uncomfortable.

Joint mobilization
Slow, controlled movement applied to a joint within the range it already has. The pace is gradual and you stay in control of it throughout. Commonly seen for stiffness through the neck, shoulder and hips.

Osteopathic manual treatment
A hands-on session that begins with an assessment of how you move, then works through the areas that come up. The whole body is considered rather than one isolated spot. Commonly seen for back pain, neck pain and joint pain.
Available at Don Mills, PLACEHOLDER_CLINIC_2_NAME, PLACEHOLDER_CLINIC_3_NAME
Trigger point therapy
Sustained manual pressure on a tight band within a muscle, applied at a level you set and adjusted as you give feedback. Commonly seen for localized neck, shoulder and back pain.
